Privacy Policy
Overview
PickYourBeauty (https://www.pickyourbeauty.com) is a beauty discovery site. We help you find beauty products through a short quiz and curated picks, then link you to retailers where you can buy.
PickYourBeauty does not operate accounts, a shopping cart or checkout. Every purchase happens on the retailer's own site, under the retailer's own terms and privacy policy.
Information We Collect
- This site doesn't use forms, and we don't ask for your name or email address.
- When you arrive from an ad or a partner link, the landing URL may carry ad click identifiers (such as gclid, fbclid or msclkid) and campaign sub IDs. We keep these in your browser's session storage and add them to the retailer link you click, so the retailer can credit the referral correctly. This is essential to how the site works and happens regardless of your cookie choice.
- When you click a "Shop at Sephora" button, we record that click — the page, which button, your quiz result category when you have one, and the click identifiers above. The record contains these ad click identifiers and campaign sub IDs, and no name, email or account data. It uses no cookies, and it happens regardless of your cookie choice.
Cookies & Similar Technologies
- Your cookie choice (Accept or Reject non-essential) is stored in your browser. Optional analytics and advertising tags (managed through Google Tag Manager) run only according to that choice.
- If your browser or device sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a reject.
- You can change your choice at any time using the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the footer.
Third-Party Retailers
Clicking a "Shop at Sephora" button takes you to that retailer's own website to complete your purchase. Retailers set their own product details, pricing and availability, and your purchase is governed by their terms and privacy policy, not ours.
Affiliate Relationships
PickYourBeauty may earn a commission through an affiliate network when you buy after clicking a retailer link, at no extra cost to you. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.
Not Medical Advice
Content on PickYourBeauty is informational and meant to help you discover products — it is not medical or dermatological advice.
Your US Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over how your information is used, including the choices described above. Use the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the footer to opt out of non-essential cookies and advertising measurement at any time, free of charge.
